If you're ever around the Manapouri Airport when Ivan Krippner is practising his aerobatic routine, stick around and watch for a while.
Ivan, a former NZ champion, is part of an international aerobatic team that does displays in Asia - so when there's no Covid-19 restrictions, he will again be heading off to join the team.
Meanwhile he keeps his hand in by flying in his Pitts Special in a mind-blowing series of complicated manoeuvres.
